GIFT CARD
Gifting a massage or foot reflexology session can be a meaningful way to show your love, support, or gratitude to someone who deserves a moment of self-care or body awareness.
When it comes to breathwork sessions, I believe intrinsic motivation is a key factor. For this reason, they cannot be offered as a gift.
The price for a gift card is equal to that of the introductory offer, provided the recipient is a new client.
To request a gift card, please use the button below to send me both the giver’s and the recipient’s names. Additionally, I’ll need your address details for the invoice and the date on which you’d like to gift the card.

STADSPAS (CITY PASS)
For those with limited financial means, I occasionally offer a limited number of breathwork sessions upon presentation of a City Pass. If you’re interested, please send me a message briefly explaining why you’d like to experience a session.
Policy
General
- I do not provide medical or erotic massages.
- I am not authorised to make medical diagnoses and cannot perform miracles. However, breath and bodywork can be powerful tools.
- My sessions are not reimbursed by health insurance providers. This is a conscious choice, as the requirements and reimbursements from insurers are constantly changing. By working independently, we can focus entirely on your personal process and well-being, free from constraints or imposed protocols. This way, you pay directly for the quality of the sessions and invest in your own personal development. It is a transparent approach, away from the complexity of the healthcare system. In my opinion, the premiums you pay are also often no longer in proportion to what is reimbursed.
- If you are under the care of a doctor, specialist, or therapist, or if you are taking medication, please consult with them beforehand to ensure a massage or breathwork session is suitable. Kindly inform me of this in advance.
- I maintain proper personal hygiene and kindly expect the same from you.
Appointment Rules
- Cancellations are possible up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Your booked session will remain valid and can be rescheduled for a new date. If you are late or do not show up, the option to reschedule will no longer be available, and the full session fee will be charged. Of course, you are welcome to book a new session. You can, of course, book a new session.
- After our session, I will send you an invoice and kindly ask you to transfer the amount as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days.
Discounts & Packages
- The introductory offer is a one-time discount and applies only to your first visit, regardless of the type of session.

Sessions for Business Use
- Coaching focused on stress management, self-insight, and personal growth may be eligible for business invoicing. Please contact your accountant for more information.
Memberships & Quality Assurance
- The Essence of Presence is a student member of the National Association of Naturopathic Therapists (LVNT). This professional association values quality and trust.
- In accordance with the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz), I am affiliated with an independent complaints committee for alternative medicine.
- As a student member, I am also subject to disciplinary law.
What if you are not happy?
I do everything I can to treat you in a competent and respectful manner. Nevertheless, sometimes you might experience it differently, and then I would appreciate it if you discussed your discontent with me. Should you find this difficult or should we not be able to resolve the matter together, you can follow the (Dutch) step-by-step plan of the LVNT.
COVID-19
For your and my safety, I follow the guidelines of the RIVM (the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) and the professional association LVNT.
The following special measures apply to my studio:
- Our session can only go ahead if we are both free of COVID-19 related complaints, such as a cold, sore throat, headache, runny nose, coughing, sneezing, tightness in the chest or fever. I am relying on both of our common senses here.
- Also, if your housemates or family members have these symptoms, or if you have been in contact with someone infected with COVID-19 in the past 10 days, I will ask you to reschedule our appointment. Only after you have been symptom-free for 24 hours can you make a new appointment.
- Have you been vaccinated recently? Then it is advisable to wait at least 5 days in view of possible side effects.
- If you decide to move your appointment for health reasons (COVID-19), you can do so up to 10 hours before the start of your session.
- I plan enough time between each client to thoroughly clean and air the room.
