General

• I do not provide medical or erotic massages.
• I am not authorised to make medical diagnoses and cannot perform miracles. However, breath and bodywork can be powerful tools.
• My sessions are not reimbursed by health insurance providers. This is a conscious choice, as the requirements and reimbursements from insurers are constantly changing. By working independently, we can focus entirely on your personal process and well-being, free from constraints or imposed protocols. This way, you pay directly for the quality of the sessions and invest in your own personal development. It is a transparent approach, away from the complexity of the healthcare system. In my opinion, the premiums you pay are also often no longer in proportion to what is reimbursed.
• If you are under the care of a doctor, specialist, or therapist, or if you are taking medication, please consult with them beforehand to ensure a session is suitable. Kindly inform me of this in advance.
• I maintain proper personal hygiene and kindly expect the same from you.

Appointment Rules

• Cancellations are possible up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Your booked session will remain valid and can be rescheduled for a new date.
• If you are late or do not show up, the option to reschedule will no longer be available, and the full session fee will be charged. Of course, you are welcome to book a new session. You can, of course, book a new session.
• After our session, I will send you an invoice and kindly ask you to transfer the amount as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days.

Health & Cancellations

• Please come only if you are feeling well. If you have symptoms such as fever, flu, or a cold, or if you are unsure whether a session is advisable, I kindly ask you to reschedule – it is not beneficial for you, me, or my other clients.
• Because I reserve time specifically for you for each session, it is usually difficult at short notice to offer the spot to someone else. For this reason, I have a 48-hour cancellation policy (see above).
• So please let me know as soon as you notice something coming on, so we can proactively reschedule the session and find a new date together.

Discounts & Packages

• The introductory offer is a one-time discount and applies only to your first visit, regardless of the type of session.
• Specific benefits and conditions apply for the 3-session, 5-session, 6-session, and 10-session Presence Packages. See the detailed descriptions below the price section at the top of this page.

Sessions for Business Use

• Coaching focused on stress management, self-insight, and personal growth may be eligible for business invoicing. Please contact your accountant for more information.

Memberships & Quality Assurance

• The Essence of Presence is a student member of the National Association of Naturopathic Therapists (LVNT). This professional association values quality and trust.
• In accordance with the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz), I am affiliated with an independent complaints committee for alternative medicine.
• As a student member, I am also subject to disciplinary law.

What if you are not happy?

• I do everything I can to treat you in a competent and respectful manner. Nevertheless, sometimes you might experience it differently, and then I would appreciate it if you discussed your discontent with me. Should you find this difficult or should we not be able to resolve the matter together, you can follow the (Dutch) step-by-step plan of the LVNT.
