Preparation & Self-care

“If you have the ability to love, love yourself first.”
– Charles Bukowski –

Unwinding starts the moment you book your appointment!

  • I pay attention to my personal hygiene and kindly ask that you do the same.
  • Have something light to eat about two hours before you arrive. Both an empty and a full stomach can be distracting during your session.
  • A session can continue to have an effect for some time afterwards. If possible, plan a little extra time following the session to allow your body and mind to unwind and to let the experience integrate before exposing yourself again to the stimuli of the outside world.
  • Although breathwork can bring many wonderful things, there are also contraindications to consider. I like to work safely and responsibly, so please let me know in advance if there are any relevant matters regarding medication or your health. You can share this information in the contact form so that we can ensure a safe and tailored experience together.
  • During your breathwork session, comfortable and loose-fitting clothes are best. Try to avoid clothes with collars, buttons, zippers, drawstrings, sequins, or tight elastic waistbands. For women, it’s also better not to wear a tight or restrictive bra, or to remove it before your session.
  • It’s also helpful to reflect beforehand on an intention you’d like to breathe with during your breathwork session. This can be a short, positive statement in the first person and present tense (as if it’s already happening). For example: “I give myself the space to be who I am.” Take the time to feel what you’d like to release or invite in. The most important thing is that your intention is personal and true to your feelings in that moment. This can vary from day to day, so we’ll definitely revisit it together before your session.
  • For foot massage sessions, please wear loose-fitting clothing, ideally trousers with wide legs, and arrive with clean feet.
